Sweet and Sticky Bacon Cherry Kebabs Recipe

Rib Shack RedFor a great pre-dinner braai snack, try this delicious sweet and sticky bacon cherry kebabs Recipe. Great with some company and with a glass of Rib Shack Red.

Ingredients:

  • 250 millilitre water
  • 16 Rashers streaky bacon
  • 8 Bay leaf stalks or wooden skewers
  • 20 Glacé cherries
  • 1 sachet Sweet & Sour Sauce

Instructions:

  1. Serve with potato wedges and salads or as a pre-dinner braai snack.
  2. Thread on a cherry and repeat.
  3. Brush the kebabs with Sweet & Sour Sauce.
  4. Place a piece of foil over the grid of the braai and lay kebabs down on foil.
  5. Braai for 7-10 minutes, turning regularly until bacon is cooked and cherries start to caramelise.
  6. Serve with potato wedges and salads or as a pre-dinner braai snack.
